March 2017 – Security In the Cloud

The topic for our March meeting is Security in the Cloud. We will examine, at a high-level, what it means to have a secure cloud environment and how to understand the risk involved with partnering with cloud vendors.

About our speaker – Joe Dylewski, ATMP Solutions:
Joe Dylewski, a cyber-security subject matter expert, has spent nearly 30 years in the Information Technology arena. Mr. Dylewski is viewed as a thought leader and expert problem solver, and he leads a team of deployment and subject matter experts in the implementation of cyber-security framework, vendor risk management, risk analysis, and audit.

In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Dylewski has also held instructor positions at Eastern Michigan University and Madonna University. As a professor, Mr. Dylewski is best known for his ability to translate complex course content into clear and understandable language with an emphasis on practical application.

Mr. Dylewski earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and an Master of Arts in Mathematics from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. In addition to university education, Mr. Dylewski is also a Certified HIPAA Privacy and Security Expert, a Certified Third Party Risk Professional, and is certified in the ISO 27001 Information Technology Security Framework and the ISO 19011 Auditing Standard.
